Default RPM doesnt work ='(

Hello,

May anyone please help me with suggestion on how to fix this please? Here is what is wrong, I did an engine swap on my totaled (rear impact so the engine is 100% fine, engine start and everything work fine after the accident) 98 GSR into a 00 GSR shell.

After the swap everything work fine except for the the RPM gauge ( doesnt move at all). Every other gauge (speedometer, fuel, etc...) and lights work on the tachometer...

NOTE: I use my 99 GSR to test, it is working perfectly fine.

Here is what I've tried so far:

1) Took out that gauge and install it into my 99 GSR >>>> everything on the tachometer work fine so I've conclude that its not broken.

2) Thought the Distributor was broken or the dizzy wire was not plug in. >>>> Checked >>> Distributor and wire are working fine >>>>> RPM gauge still doesnt work :frown:

3) check the VSS and everything is plug in correctly and tightly >>>> RPM still dead =.="

Thank you in advance!!!

Have you checked your ground wire on your thermostat housing?

OBD2b doesn't have the tach signal wire at the dizzy harness, you have to splice it to the drivers side tach signal wire
