95 integra shuts off while driving
Recently my car has been idling really weird to the point it shuts off on its own. Ive been told to clean my iacv, which im gonna do. But im not sure if the iacv is the reason why my car is shutting off. Anybody know whats wrong? Its a stock LS.

No codes? Does it run Ok otherwise (off-idle)? Mileage still Ok?
Anything changed about the same time as the problem started? (e.g. service, new parts, etc)

bouncing/fluctuating idle is iacv or a vaccume leak.
where u buy the car from? got any pics?
how much u pay?
just clean the iacv and twist it in while car is idling and get it to the idle speed u want it, there is a write up here

check the ICM or relay
icm is in the dizzy and likes to just "quit" when hot (do u have to wait a while for it to [cool down] to start it back up)?
also could be bad grounds, or lose battery terminal connection.
check all the small stuff before throwing parts at it.

Well turned out the bulb was burnt in my CEL and so i replaced it. Turned out the CEL was On the whole time. I scanned the ecu And it threw me a code 8 (tdc) and a code 9 ( Cylinder position sensor). From what i know those 2 codes has somethig to do with my dizzy. Sooooooo i should replace my dizzy?
I replaced the dizzy! Everything is fine now. No more CEL and my car doesnt shut off. My car does feel slower then before. when i was replacing my dizzy, my cousin said something how its advanced. Any suggestions?
after replacing the distributor you need to adjust it so that the timing is correct. there is a two pin connector under the passenger side of the dash towards the right that needs to be shorted while adjusting the ignition timing.
i've never done this before
its super easy just as long as you dont tilt the dizzy when removing it. its literally unbolt and bolt back on. also make sure to mark where the wires go.
here's a youtube video that shows the general process of adjusting the ignition timing

since you just bought it pull the cluster out and make sure the check engine light has a bulb and socket in it, seen to many cars get sold with CEL's but the bulb had been pulled
