I need to order some new sway bar bushings for the front of my 99 4cyl ex coupe and it turns out theres a 23mm & 26.5mm bushing? Some sites don't mention the size and some give you a choice, the local stores also gave me a choice. How do I know which one I need and wtf, why would they make one thats 3.5mm bigger?

 

I think it has to do with engine...if you go to an online Honda dealer and look it up they list just one for a 99 ex 4cyl 4dr....or just get your caliper out and measue it....

 

It could be that one size is for auto trans an one for manual? Or v6 vs 4cyl? It's kinda odd that there's 2 sizes

 

I honestly think it depends on the trim of the car. I also have a 1999 Accord, mine is LX and my front sway is 26.5mm stock.

 

Great... Dealer has no clue either? Im assuming since I have a 4cyl coupe its the 23mm.

 

Did you go to a place like majestic honda and look up the part number.......
