Default ETD racing tractionbar V3 combined with half size radiator PICS and solutions

I'm buying an ETD V3 tractionbar with front engine mount and radiator brackets. I'm only not sure which half size radiator would be the best deal to go with it.
I don't want to mount it with an angle but i do want the hood to close.
Also the radiator the they suggest for the best possible fitment is the Full Race radiator, but $300 for a radiator seems a bit high especially when a civic 92-00 b16 radiator might also fit.

Does anyone here have pictures/advise from their setup with the ETD V3 bars in an EF8 or EE8 CRX? Surely i'm not the first one that want's to save some money here.

You shouldn't have a problem using the oem half size rad, but the radiator brackets you bought will probably need to be modified or you can sell those and make your own. The oem rad is tall, which requires you to drop it down a good bit to clear the hood. Are you working around a turbo kit or gnarly header?

I'm working around a turbokit. I did not order the brackets yet but if it's no direct fit with a half size civic rad then i'll fix some up myself probably as you see in the picture they aren't that hard to make

Working around the turbo kit changes things. Make your own brackets for sure. That's what I had to do after purchasing the ones you have pictured there. Whether or not you'll be able to mount the radiator straight will depend on how your kit is designed. More than likely, you will also need a slim fan.

Do you have pictures of the current setup? I'm a bit worried about the grond clearance if i make my own brackets because it will sit well under the tractionbar. We have allot of speedbumps here and i kinda need my ground clearance.

Pictures of my car won't do you much good, as I angled my radiator to accommodate my 3" downpipe. But you shouldn't need to drop your radiator any lower than the traction bar so it will still be protected.

That's the thing i rather don't want to angle the damn thing either, if i could just see a pic of your engine bay maybe i can decide better if i do want to angle the radiator.
