Default Project, 92 Honda Civic Hatchback

New to this forum. But I wanna show something I've been working on.
Picked up a '92 Honda Civic Hatchback late August of 2011. It's been about 6 months, so far, so good.

Not a fan of the wheels and the whole HellaFlush aspect but that's just me.

Congrats on your new purchase!

Mounted the tires on the rims today, never have I seen so much stretch on one wheel. Rolled my fenders, and mounted the wheels on the car and I gotta say, it looks dope.

Sorry, still getting use to this forum, so I rarely go on. I'm usually on Clubeg6, but here's a update on the car!

Picked up a '92 Honda Civic Hatchback late August of 2011. It's been about 6 months, and I've saved up tons of money, so far, so good.

This is what I've picked up recently :
- Buddy Club Spec II Exhaust
- Diamond Racing Wheels
- AEM Short Ram Intake
- Eibach Ground Control Coilovers on Tokiko Blue Shocks
- Skunk 2 Camber Kit All Around
- NRG Short Hub
- NRG 2.5 Quick Release
- NRG Suede Deep Dish Steering Wheel
- Brand new OEM Side Mirrors

What I'm looking forward to :
- Championship White Paint Job
- RMF Headers
- Car Alarm
^
This should have been FIRST.
- SiR Front Lip
- JDM Thin Moldings
- Duck-Bill
Have fun building the car. Wish I'd taken pics of mine before I built it.

I live in a pretty safe neighborhood, and I never drive anywhere with the car unless I can keep a good eye on it, haha but I'm planning to get it right after I fix the suspension since the car won't be able to make it up the driveway anymore. But I definitely need it when I get the paint job. And thanks, I will!

Moved to appearance and cosmetics. Also stretched tire, especially on a daily driver is horribly unsafe.

Hatch looks super clean, I love the diamond wheels & that stretch! Props on this build! Glad to see your riding on stretch tyres rather than hating on them!!
How does the car ride?

Meh...if you don't mind the risk of having a tire fail, minimally causing a bent rim, or more seriously causing injury or death. I prefer safety over looking baller.

If you're driving it all it's still unsafe.

I don't think you realize this but you're endangering the lives of other people walking or driving around you. I also don't think you realize how or why it's dangerous, with tires stretched that bad you run a pretty good chance of having a blowout, most people get that, but if you're running a lot of negative camber you're basically running on the sidewall, which besides making it even more likely that you'll have a blowout, it also means you have very little traction, even on dry pavement. This is one trend I wish would just die.

Bro chill out this a cruiser not a racer, & im pretty sure anhybody that is rolling on stretchd tyres knows that & takes that into consideration.. i understand if your hitting top speeds your destined to blow out that tire, but when you cruising you have the same % as any body else out on the road of blowing a tire..
correct me if im wrong?

You're about as wrong as you could be. The only way that car would be considered "safe", is if it were completely stationary. Even then, I wouldn't let it rest that way on the tires long, because it'd probably deform the sidewall of the tires.

You live in Canada. I live in California... So u shouldn't even be trippin. I know what I'm doing, ur acting like I'm the only one with stretched tires. There are many more people with stretched tires far worse than mine. So go bitch on their threads.
