I could take the head off and remove the valves.
Hit it with a wire wheel and then reinstall it.
I know the cylinder bored & rings could have rust also.

When I decide to really get serious I'll to take the head off and degrease it.

Then remove the valves and wire wheel the rust off, slap on new valve stem seals I got and then have my friend post it up for normal used price $300 or so just for the head .

Take me all of 2 or 3 hours in my spare time. no big deal

You'll fools won't have any jokes but then again it doesn't matter because you comedians didn't want to buy it in the first place.
