Default Change CAT or get another car

My light came on for the CAT and I need to replace it. My 96 Accord LX almost has 270k on the clock. The car is mechanically sound but do you guys recommend me get another car or put money into this car and fix it?

I will be purchasing a 300zx if it's worth it to get another car. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm couple hundred for a cat or the expense of another car that probably has it's own problems... Sounds to me like you're trying to talk yourself into getting a new car.

This should be a no brainer. Get the new cat and then if you have a slush fund get your 300zx. Don't be fooled by looks alone. There are many great looking cars on the used market, but peel back the skin and you will find lots of bondo and hidden surprises. I would keep the accord. My wife can't pry mine until I'm dead. LOL.

This thread makes so sense. If you want to keep your car change the cat, if not buy the Nissan.

Work on the 300ZX first and that new cat will look like a cake walk

There are places out there that will throw a universal cat on it for only 150 bucks. Just shop around.

$150 versus couple grand + headaches. Cat wins. Lol
