Hi,
i have a crx ee8 with b18 gsr engine with s300, running with stock injectors and resistor box. The rev limit in s300 was 8600rpm but in the cluster he just cut to 9k.
Today i put the 310cc from prelude and took out the resistor box, with same 8600 from s300 in the cluster he cut 8600 too!
Is this normal?

does the datalog show 8600 or 9000? tach's usually are off by a bit up top.

 

Your tachometer is likely inaccurate.

Setup a check engine shiftlight to verify this.

 

Check via Datalogging. When idling and barely giving it gas, How does the tach respond?

 

In s300 show 900rpm idling and tach show 1000rpm ~
Your cars have the same difference?
