need technical help with wheel fitment on my eg
I have a 93 eg sedan and i currently have the xxr 527 wheels on it. They are 17x8.25 with a +25 offset with 205 40 17 tires. The inner fender lips are rolled(and not pulled)
Im wanting to get a set of 17x9(xxr 962) wheels but i dont know if they will fit.
So my question is, What offset do i need to run the 17x9 on my car. i dont mine rolling the fenders a little bit more if i have to.
Second question. Will my 205 40 17 tires work on a 17x9 wheel? i dont mind stretching and my car IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER, just a weekend show and go car.
thanks n advance

From the Forum Rules and FAQ:
This type of question is better suited for the Appearance forums, if anywhere.
10. Do not ask about "stretching" tires onto wheels that are too wide.
All such topics will be locked. Tire manufacturers determine the wheel widths onto which each model and size tire can be mounted safely, and you can find the range of these wheel widths in the specs on their websites as well as those of retailers like the Tire Rack. Mounting tires onto wheels outside this range of approved wheel widths is unsafe because it can, and often does, result in the buildup of excessive stress and heat in the tire sidewalls, which can lead to the tire "popping the bead" and/or tire failure. Make sure your tires are mounted on wheels whose widths are within the approved range.
