Default 93 b16 head on jdm gsr block?

Is it possible to put a 93 b16 head on a jdm gsr block for a poor mans? Or does it have to be a 99 b16 head?

My 97 ek hatch. Just making sure. I told my friend to go pick up a 99 b16 head for me but then he didnt even check the stamp and it was a 93.

all b-series heads are compatible, depends on how u want ur setup... any b16 head, no matter what year it came off of are the same...same as p75, p72, p73, etc. etc... hope this helps, like to see the outcome... much luck...

not true. a pre 96 will be obd1 and after would be obd2.

it'll only take a couple parts swapping otherwise you'll be fine. mechanically they are the same.

yeah only difference would be injector and distributor plugs, and you would need to use the gsr head bolts or studs

yeah, difference would be about a -.2, due to a bigger combustion chamber
