replaced oil sendin unit,plugged in tight,full of oil,light came on @ 2 qts low filled and reset but light stays on.how do i check oil pressure on this 93 honda accord 2.2L?

 

Are you sure the wire isn't grounded somewhere? If you unplug the switch, does the light still come on? I know the switch is new but did you test it?

 

You need to hook up an oil pressure gauge (tester) in place of the oil pressure switch.

With the engine warm @ idle (750-800rpm) you should see 10psi minimum for oil pressure. Then bring the engine RPM up to 3000 and you should see 50psi minimum.
