Default All gauge lights flicker on and off randomly? What causes this?

So my girlfriends 99 accord EX coupe seems to have this problem with the gauge lights flickering. All the lights battery, both doors and trunk say they're open, srs, e brake, check engine. You get the point literally every lights up while she is driving. Now her battery keep dying after we replaced the battery the new one died. So we went found out the alternator was bad. Changed that and car was running fine. Now the gauge lights are flickering. So we took the battery to get checked that seems to be fine too. Car runs perfect but she's scared of the flickering gauge lights. Is there something else I need to check? Am I missing something ? Her dad insists the cars doomed and needs to be sold. Im not convinced its anything major.

Did you buy a new alternator? Flickering lights are usually quite indicative of alternator failure. it's not impossible that the alternator you got was bad.

I would make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight - No visible damage or loose connections. Also, check the changed alternator and make sure the connections aren't loose.
Follow the negative ground wire and make sure it's not corroded - It's a common problem that the ground is rusted and needs to be cleaned/replaced.

From there try testing the output on the alternator and battery to make sure they're running correct voltage.

I would start with basic things like making sure the contacts are all in good shape.Do voltage drop tests.
