AEM cai vs password jdm
AEM better.. I don't think Password JDM have R&D behind their CAI. And to compare with the Stock JDM intake the AEM better, coz I upgraded from JDM OEM B16 intake to AEM CAI, more power more MPG (if you combined with the MSD ignition)
I answered this exact same question recently, maybe it was on another forum. Way back when there were many many intake options, AEM was considerably smaller than the others. Even with this "handicap" the AEM consistently made better numbers across the board. AEM was probably one of the few that actually tuned their intake. The PWJDM looks nice, but I have no idea how it performs.
BTW: AEM still makes their intakes, how many others still do after all these years?

There are tons of threads on here that prove the AEM 3" type r in take makes more power than pw jdm, arc, all those. Search I have seen dyno graphs from local dudes at Church Automotive and Whitfield racing.
I would imagine the AEM makes more power just from the fact that it's a CAI, vs PWJDM's which is a SRI. I'll be making a similar decision soon, and I think I will likely be relocating the battery ('cause that's awesome) to fit the PWJDM. It rains too much here in Nebraska for me to feel safe with a CAI.
2004 wasn't it when all the rice was happening???……relocating your battery is stupid cuz it leaks acid and acid vapors are vented so I wouldn't want that in my car also most ppl do it ghetto style……

I'm so glad I moved that back in the day, no longer ever have to worry about it.
