Default Mugen valve cover

So for Christmas I recived a "mugen" valve cover. It's obviously a "fake". The gift isn't what matters to me it's the thought but my question is would I be a jackass by putting this on my car. Would any one else put this on there car.

Half of the Mugen valve covers I see on cars are the knockoffs, they are still pretty expensive, and still look just as good as the real deal, you cant really even tell the difference. So why not? Like stated above, who gives a **** what some tools on HT think, you know there is going to be those couple doushers that give you **** for rocking fake mugen stuff. But F them, the majority of people on here are rocking knockoffs.

The difference is very minimal. I doubt that most of the mugen valve covers I've seen in person are legit, but I couldn't tell without referencing the pictures. I'd rock one, maybe do something different like have a polished mugen vc if it's fake and your not sure about it.

Very identical, however, notice that bolt before the "N" on the Real one? It's easy for the hardcore mugen enthusiasts to notice.

Its as lame as asking if i should put ROTAs on my car, because rotas are just knockoffs of other rims.

Who cares man, whats up with the insecurity these days? if anyone judges you for what you do to your car, they aren't true enthusiasts

Just don't post this up in the ITR forum, people in that forum are soooo snobby, if it aint real mugen they would BURN IT

I already put it on, it looks beautiful. The only reason I asked is because sometimes I see riced out, Hondas look at them and laugh. I just didn't want to have one of those.

Fake or real are both a waste of money IMHO. This is purely a cosmetic part.

That's like the people that spend $200+ on a SPOON horn button because it's real, when the "replica" is less than $100. Just for "status" among the fanboi's. I mean come on, a horn button is a horn button...
