I have this problem and wanted to know if anyone with a ZC swap has had the samething. I just completed my swap and the engine boggs at 3100rpm it wont let me get past that point. I just drove this engine in another car 3 weeks ago and it was great. can anyone help? I checked my connections several times. Its in a 1988 4 dr I used the same pm6 that was controlling it before, I put the zc chip in instead of the mugen to see if that was it,no luck.

my ZC bogs/hesitates in the lower RPM too.
i was thinking it was running a bit rich because i was tinkering with the fpr.
could that be a possibility with you too?

 

hmm...mine boggs sometimes at part throttle if i dont have my inline fuel pump running...like the stocky is having troulbe pushing through

try:
new fuel filter
advance timing
mess wit fpr..

 

are you throwing any codes? Mine was bogging too, but i just adjusted my fuel pressure to 35 psi from 50 psi and its fine now. quick throttle responce and no bogging anymore

 

it seems like all zc's bog and hesitate...it's part of their powerband

 

Mine dosnt at all.

I love her though, and the way I pay her back is by shoving 7psi of compressed air down her throat...and she swallows it all...
