Default Coolant temp sensors...

Looking for some input on how well the oem Honda coolant temp sensors perform when compared to ones like GM,Bosch etc.? Gonna have a harness made and would like to know if I should keep the oem one or use something else? Using AEM v2

Reason I ask is because i notice that some of my friend's datalogs show coolant temps changing slowly with oem sensors with big increases when they do change. for example they start the run at about 180 and it will jump to 195 at the end to 205 by the time they are on the return road with it coming back down to 190 by the time they shut off.
