Turbo Choice between T3/60-1 or T4/60-1 or Presision PT54
I have a built b18b1 with 84.5 mm bores, you know the normal built engine setup for turbo. It has 10:1 compression etc...
My question is what would be a good choice in turbo.
T3/60-1
T4/60-1
Precision PT54
I plan on using a inline pro manifold unless I can find a simple equal length for a good price.
I wouls like to get full boost around 4500 or so, and an *** load of topend of course. It will be a weekend warrior not a daily driver so thats the answer to that.
I have been thinking the PT54 but I would like some other opinions out there.
Thanks

I don't know about the PT lineup...
But as far as the T3/60-1 vs T4/60-1 battle goes... it seems that both will run similar quarter mile ET's in a Honda/Acura, however the T4 version will trap about 4-5mph higher. If you're on the street, I'd go T3, on the track only, T4.

It looks for the money the T3/60-1 is going to be the best in terms of flow and peformance, althought the Precision looks a ton better...

I really like the quality and the workmanship that goes into the PT turbos but they are still new in our market. id like to see some reviews of people with real life experience with them. I wouldnt go with the T3/60-1 simply because there is a guy locally who ran that on his VW(1.8T). it made just over 300whp at 26psi. then he upgraded to a T3/T04e 50trim and made 360whp @ 22psi. there was no headwork on the car at the time. as a matter of fact its the same VW in the other link by SirKid.
I asked precision what turbo they recomend to make 590hp and they said the sc54 which is good for 620 if pushed hard.

thats weird..what were the specs on the 60-1 he was running?
Isn't there a T3/T4 60-1?
Isn't there a T3/T4 60-1?
to clarify:
the t3/60-1 is a TO4S compressor housing, centersection and shaft with a T3 turbine housing and wheel. 4 inch inlet on the compressor housing
