i took my cluster out to swap out the gas guage in favor of the 5spd one since i swapped auto to manual. now i've swapped the gauge over and none of my gauges work. is there a fuse or relay anything i can test? at first my tach was working then that stopped after i unplugged it to see whats wrong with the speedo, then the tach worked for a little then that stopped too.
now none work. i went to the j yard to grab a extra cluster but the plugs on the top and sides differed. i tried using the gauges out the j yard one and put it inside my cluster still no luck. im highly frustrated with the situation and want my cluster to work propperly.

My suggestion is to put it back to the way it was, make sure all of your connections are clean and tight. See if that does anything for you.
Model and year of your Accord and the gauges being used would also help. To be honest with you. I didn't know that there was a difference between the 5sp and auto fuel gauges. Using gauges from the same year Accord would be a suggestion.
What, if any wiring did you change when you did your 5 spd swap?

It's not the auto/5 spd fuel gauges that are different, it's actually the plugs for the wire harnesses on the 9293 gauge clusters that are different and not compatible with the 9091 clusters. Auto/5 spd makes no difference, other than the shift pattern for the auto inside the cluster.
As for the original problem...not able to help with that one.

I saw a post a while back. The OP suggessted to insert your key into the maintenance slot of the cluster 3x and then turn it from of to on but don't crank the engine. I haven't tried it myself.
