Default quick question

i have a 85 crx si and i just got a new engine for it but its a d15 b i was wondering if it will work if i put my tranny on that swap ?

I believe if I'm not mistaken that all d series tranny's fit on all d series engine but if it's a hydro transmission youll need a cable to hydro conversiOn on your car

your 1g CRX transmission will not bolt to the 88 and later D-series blocks - not even close - also, the D15B will not bolt right into your CRX - to swap to the D15B you would need to use an aftermarket mount kit like this one from Hasport which also uses the 92-up D-series transmission with hydraulic clutch - you will need a custom left side axle

you will have a lot of wiring changes to make even with the Si wiring in order to run the electronic advance ignition system on the D15B - if the D15B is VTEC, you will have more wiring changes in order to convert to OBD1
