Icon2 Wooden shift **** ??

Anyone have an idea where to find a wooden shift **** like this ?
Must fit 10mm thread.

Looks like a **** from a 1st gen Civic. Pretty tough to find, and not usually cheap if you find one in that condition.

usually from older cars. you have to rip off the leather and "tah dah" you got a clean a$$ wooden shift ****.. keep it on the "DL" though. lol

Maybe a local woodworker could make you one. The aftermarket ***** like Personal or Nardi either don't fit our thread pitch or look funny, so I had my neighbor make me one that looks like the photos above.

I can find out how much he wants to make another one and let you know. Maybe just have him cut it out and shape it on the lathe and let you stain it and drill it yourself to keep cost down. Fastenal sells the threaded insert that fits our cars.

Here's the one he made me.

Search ebay for a generic wood shift ****.
Search 'Blackbullet" posts on the 1stgencivic site for the "H" on top of the generic wood ****

+1 for having it made. I'm gonna go on a limb and say any grandpa would probably have a lathe and make it real fast.
