My fiance has a 1996 accord lx when I used to drive it when I back into a parkin space it will stall and lock the breaks an stearing mechanic said it was the butterfly fixed it then 2 weeks later is stared again then he said fuel filter same thing so now I wanna fix it I noticed that if it goes past 3000 rpms an u let off gas it stalls can any1 help me with advice to figure out how to fix this problem an its a none vtech 4 cyl 2.2 L

 

Could this be really blocked EGR passages? Have you tried cleaning those? At what RPM does it idle?

 

What is the car idling at in neutral? How about when in drive? Have you tried cleaning the screen of your iacv with carb cleaner? The egr system should have nothing to do with this, as it only activates with load, and during cruise.

 

The IACV was going to be my next guess.
