91 Si Fuel pump power problem...
So heres the story....
I just picked up a 91 civic Si. Pretty much all original, just has a system and rebuilt motor.
I got it not running, seller told me it had a bad fuel pump.... So after i picked it up i swapped the pumps..
Still the pump doesnt turn on.. So, i change the main relay. Nada.. Ecu is good, i think.(it primed my other 90 Si).... (all other electrical works great, car cranks fine.) Fuses look good.
The wiring has never been fooled with...
So now pull out the volt meter and check those fuel pump wires. It shows 2.xx which doesn't seem correct.
I put the volt meter to the roof light and it shows 12.xx volts.
I called the guy to asked what exactly happened to the car..., he says that he was making a right turn, and the car just suddenly died out..
Now does anybody have any ideas????

check the ground wire connection to the thermostat housing to make sure that it is clean and secure - this is the ground for the main relay, ECU, shielding and some of the sensors - also check fuse #37 in underhood fuse box - it is second one up from bottom on right hand side and is fuse for main relay

i had this same problem not to long ago. Mine turned out to be fuse number 14 under the dash.
Hope this will help a little.
