How to lower my DA?
So basically I'm stuck and don't know how I should lower my DA integra. I know I can do the adjustable coil overs, lowering springs, or just plain cut the coils. Which is the best way, with out going and dumping a bunch of money into suspension?
Obviously cutting coils is free just takes time.. But then you don't get a great ride. So I'm more between coil overs and lowering coils. I don't particularly want a bouncy ride, just a nice smooth one, and I also don't want to get into the whole chamber kits.. I don't know. What do you guys think?

Do not cut the springs, that is so mexican rigged lol (no offence to all my latino's on here
), go with ebay lowering springs. They are $40 bucks, might be a little bouncy, I dunno. Coilovers are way to expensive for your budget.

i ve had about 10 different cars with cut springs in my life and i will tell you its NOT the way to go!!!. Yeah it will look good sittin in one place but will ride and handle like absolute dogshit. If anything do like Dirty said and grab some ebay springs, thats be a good start

go to ebay you can get strut towers and adjustable coil overs for a good price i did that with a civic i had the ride was a tad ruff but wasnt to bad at all i think i paid at the most like 50 bucks and you get the whole setup springs coil locks and the tool to adjust em so thats my personal suggestion if your on a tight budget
Dam 3" on ebay springs. If you are keeping stock shocks their gonna blow for sure. Yeah if you're that low on a budget, get ebay, then when you have enough, get progress.
LOL cuz it looked so damn good!!!!! None one those cars were a DD, all side projects and toys. Crap like Escort Gts, Toyota Corollas, Toyota Celicas (the rear wheel drive ones). Man we were cuttin coils like nobodys bizness!!! Thats lil dream is highlighted with MANY episodes of blown struts, worn tires, and utter silliness. Ahhh the 90s..........
If you don't want bouncy, you want good shocks. And good shocks alone will exceed your budget.
Seriously, if that is all you have to spend, leave the car completely stock. Budgets that limited means you have much more important things to worry about, like creating a small nest egg of money for the unexpected, which isn't really so unexpected with a 20 year old car.
Best advice I can give is to wait until your budget improves. $300 is not enough to do anything worthwhile unless you can find an amazing deal on some lightly used quality coilovers from someone you can trust.
buy the ebay crap and it might cost more than 300 to fix whatever damage they cause in the future, from and not limited to blown shock/strut, bad tire wear, poor alignment, possibility of ebay parts just breaking all together, etc, etc.. with everything their comes a price and it just depends on how much your willing to do or spend.. just be patient.
like the above user said if thats all you got to work with, it might be better to spend your time instead of on car, trying to find a better means of higher income that way you can really hook a car up or at least fix all the future problems you will have if you go these cheap and quick routes..

Google rokkor or raceland coilovers. They are full coIlovers for about $300 shipped to your door. If not. Used suspension could be had for 3-350 all day. Just search the classifieds and Craigslist

rokkor and raceland dont make coils for the DA chassis...save some monies and at least get a stage 1 coil, f and f type-1's are 600, so are the yonaka's.
Front shock forks from EG or EF(?) would be needed for shock/coilover.
Try browsing your local forum and craigslist ads and see if anyone is selling something (used of course). Otherwise save your money and do it right the first time. Making that extra bit of investment comes out cheaper in the long run. Difference in ride quality of course would be different compared to the cheap stuff.
