Default Spray Paint

Hey people I have a pair of fenders for my em an I want to put them on before Painting them to save space in my closet and so the car can look a little better than my banged up fenders.

So what spray paint can i throw on to protect the metal from the elements till spring time?

First off, sand, primer, then a thin coat of duplicolor. its what i did, and if done right will actually look decent for awhile

Any of your common oil-based rattle-can paints like Rustoleum, Krylon, or whatever would protect it for a little while.
