Default Car wont start need some help

Well my car isnt starting. its werid because it wasnt starting so i took out the battery and got it checked and it was fine. when i put the battery back in my lights wouldnt turn on now and a jump start wont even start my car. what is wrong with my car? alternator? or something else.

it sounds like maybe there is a ground wire that is going bad, or your ignition switch is failing.

You can test your ignition switch according to the manual to determine if it is bad so you don't spend the money to just replace the part and have that not be the problem.

Your starter solenoid may also be bad, causing the starter never to engage. you can jump that to test it before buying a new starter just to see what happens. basically you need to do a lot of troubleshooting on your own and report back the results here so we can help you.

Im thinking its a ground wire. cause even if my ignition is bad i'd still be able to turn my headlights on right?

Yes, check the battery ground again. Do the hazards work?

. Yes the hazards do work. thats the only kinda of power that works at the moment.

Does it crank? If it doesn't, check the 50A fusible link in the engine bay fuse box. Should be close to where the battery and alternator cable come into the fuse box.

What exactly do you mean by crank?? okay i'll check the fuse box when i can but at the momeny my hood isnt popping lol. still trying to get it open...
