Honestly your R looked super cleaned how it was before without the jdm front!! But people has there own opinion and taste/wants. Im just wondering if your R had matching vins # numbers in the front? It looks like in picture 3 I can kind of see the vin tag on driver fender? It would just be sad to see a perfectly Clean R get jdm junkie!! But that's me. GL with the caR

Yay! Another USDM ITR ruined. Good job OP. It makes the value of mine go up just that much more.

BTW--this isn't 2001. JDM front end is not as cool as it once was.

If this was a salvage or something...then who cares. But if it wasn't, congrats again.

It's ruined? People put Hype R's on a pedestal. Are they nice? Very. Are they as priceless as you make them out to be? No. Get off your horse and hit the X.

Did you take an incorrect turn and end up in the wrong forum?

And you *do* realize that a JDM front vs USDM front on a non-salvaged decent condition car equals, at minimum, $2K less in resale, right?

You could buy 3 more 92-95 hatchcraps with that

Hats off to anyone willing to get their hands dirty, however, I'm a JDM conversion fan.

I don't like to on anyone for what they do to there own car. It's their $$ so who am I to tell them how to spend it? I wanted the JDM f/e for a while but as time has gone by I'm so glad I didn't really have the cash flow to do it. I'm sure this car (done right) will turn out looking great in the end but speaking for myself I'd be hard pressed to do it to a non salvage title or wrecked DC2R. Good luck with your build OP.

I'm more on his side, but look foward to seeing it all finished. GL with it anyway.

I'm not a huge JDM front fan. Especially on a yellow car. Oh well. Why'd you decide to do this, op? I wont get as emotional as some people already did....but...damn...the car looked good with the USDM front. Id rather see this done to a GSR or something. Oh well.
