Default Power Rear View Mirror rattle/noise HELP!

My 2005 Accord Coupe has one of the power rear view mirrors that includes the electronic compass and auto-dimming features, which are all nice and lovely, but over the years it's been rattling and making more and more noise and now it's driving me crazy.

Short of fully replacing it, can anyone suggest a way to eliminate the noise this thing makes? Anyone else have this problem and been able to address it?

Open to any and all (realistic) suggestions.

Happy Holidays!

Assume it rattles when car is moving. Is it the arm or the mirror itself? If the arm get a black rubber band to keep tension on it. Should be able to hide it.

Not necessarily when it's moving, but always when the volume of the radio is high. I think the arm is solid, I do believe the issue is in the housing of the mirror itself.

Remove it (electrical connector pops off, then either a set screw or twist 90 degrees). Then turn the whole thing upside down and shake a bit. Depending on what it is you might get lucky. Else replace it with a non-powered one for $20. For a new or replacement one go to Amazon or eBay. Look up "auto dimming mirror." Note that the window mount with a set screw is a "wedge" and one with a spring that you twist 90 degrees is a "camlock." I think only the factory sedans are wedge.
