Clunking Drum Brake
Hey guys! New guy here
I have a 2001 Honda Accord 2.3L AT. Its got 184k (kms). I've recently got it used, few weeks ago. Last couple days I was testing out the ABS as it snowed about half a cm. After a few hard stops ABS works, but I've noticed a clunking noise coming from my rear passenger side brake now. It only happens when I apply the brakes slightly while going at a very low speed. What could be the problem?
Some insight or suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

I should also add that when I brake harder the noise goes away. There is a similar thread about the exact issue I'm having.

In short check the stabilizer links to see if its loose, make sure the bar is tightened properly to the link. I haven't had the time to check it out, for now I avoid the noise by braking late.

Yes I did resolve this issue...it was not as bad as suspected. Took it to my mechanic he opened up the drum brake cleaned it with an air compressor to remove any dirt and that was it, I've never had that problem again.
It could possibly be the same for yours if you didn't clean your brakes before replacing the components. I'm not for certain
