Default Code P1336 on stock 2000 Civic EX

I just did a valve adjustment this morning. .007 for the intake valves and .009 for the exhaust valves. Tightened until it felt like dragging through rough sand. Double checked adjustments after tightening lock nut. I started the car, it ran great and there was no CEL. I let it warm up a bit then turned it off.

A few hours later I get in the car to go to work and it throws a CEL when I start it. I reset the light but it came right back on when I started it again. I pulled the code P1336, CKP (CKF) sensor intermitent interuption, at Advance Auto. I have no idea what to do to fix this and the Advance Auto Parts guy was clueless, didn't even know what a CKF sensor was. Might this new issue not be related to the valve adjustment I just did? Can anyone help me out?

Maybe I pinched a wire when I put the upper timing cover back on. I'll need to check that when I get home.

So I went back to look over my work and I found that when removing the upper timing belt cover I somehow managed to pull the crankshaft sensor wire out of its little channel. This caused the alternator belt to rub against it. I tucked the wire back into it's channel, reset the CEL, and now everything is great. And no tapping valves anymore either. It's blissfully smooth & quiet. I hope this helps someone else that might make the same mistake.
