I hate to start a new thread but I didnt find anything useful after a search. Im trying to put a h22a in a ek using the d tranny, bisimoto still sells the adapter plate but not the mounts.

They said I could modify some aftermarket mounts but how? Does anyone make custom mounts?

Why not just a straight h swap? I've never been a fan of h2d

 

I dont like the cable shifter. To me it doesnt feel as good as the linkage shifter, plus the car is already set up with a D.

If I cut a hole in my ek to mount the h22 shifter can I ever go back to D or B?

 

Yes. Just dont cut where the linkage bolts too. In an ek it would be super easy to reverse since the passanger mount bolts on.

 

I was wondering if the ek h22 mount for driver side would suffice in an h2d swap. I was gonna try that first then have a local shop modify it from ther.
