check for any damage to springs and pads, if the pads are nearly used down to the rivets it should be changed

You should replace the clutch anyways if ur planning on swapping out the engine..but usually slippage is a great sign of a bad clutch..also depends on how u drive it..if you get on it all the time ir clutch might wear more on one side than the other..usually the side that contacts the flywheel also u can tell ur pressire plate is goin bad is if u notice that ur pedal is getting really soft..but u should also. Listen for bearing noises especially ur throw out bearing..that takes a **** and byebye pressure plate

just know what you're getting if you go stage 2 or 3----super hard engagements

i would go with exedy stage 1 for smooth engagement and can hold good amounts of power..up to 275??

exedy oem clutch and your stock R flywheel. if you do not have the stock R flywheel use the 9.5lb exedy flywheel. it's better balanced than the fidanza and can be resurfaced

if you autocross or drive hard frequently upgrade that to the exedy stage 1 clutch with the same flywheel

done

you do not ever need the stage 2 + clutches unless the car is boosted or a dedicated course car running on slicks

..and people said stage 1. then you said you wanted stg 2 for future plans. so if you want to follow advice you asked for, stg 2 is excessive. otherwise why ask if you arent going to listen to people?

The point is its overkill, you don't need it, it does nothing for you at all, unless your boosted. Also it will wear faster. Stage 1 will be perfect for your setup.

you have your mind already made up, quit wasting our time, you're not even looking for advice as you keep rejecting what people say.

there's an extremely good reason i said what i did before

The point is why buy a clutch that you wont really need? Stage 1 will do very well for your setup. It all depends on the setup and how much you're putting out.
