Ok i got a gsr with a jdm b18c.with a jdm type r front end conversion.it redlines at 6.5k idk y and it dnt feel like its cracking vtec it feels like a stock ls.can this be cuased by a bad o2 sensor ??or is it the ecu causing this to happen??how can i tell if the car is in limp mode and by limp mode what the hell is limp mode??sorry for all the dumb noob ?s but i really would love to get the car running right...please help me and if u have something dumb/rude **** to say gtfo.i hate it when people post rude dumb **** on her when im just asking for help..thanks for the help in advance

 

Check your oil levels and make sure the car is at operating temp before anything else.

 

Is the check engine light on? If so either use a scanner or do this:

Car is at the right temp oil is good.yes tel cel is on im running a straight pipe.can the ecu have a governer?

The CEL is the cause of this. The scan will guide you.

 

what is the year of car you put this in. and what ecu are u using? Really sounds like a wiring or computer issue.

Its a 96 gsr and the swap is off an 01 itr i didnt put this thig together if i did i would of had it running the right way...vss works fine
