What could be the causes of my terrible compression.

I did a comp test and my compression was 178-30-180-90, the last cylinder improved with oil in it, but the other one was still @ 30, what can cause compression to drop that low?

Could be the rings since the last cylinder did improve when you added oil to it. Try doing a leakdown test to pinpoint where you are losing the compression.
