Hi everyone,

Just bought a Civic HX with a stock D16Y5 and everything seems fine. The only thing is when the car's on, the exhaust seems to be blowing out a bit stronger. It sort of makes a sputtering sound. Btw, the motor is completely stock besides an intake.

Anyone know how my motor's doing?

Wha? Are you getting any CELs? Poor gas mileage? If not don't worry about it. And take that intake off of it and return it to stock condition.

 

No CEL's, the gas mileage is phenomenal, but it just sounds like the back pressure is stronger than usual.

Maybe I'm just being neurotic.

 

Leave it alone then.
