Icon2 96 accord battery light flickers at a stop

I have a 96 accord Lx 4 door. Whenever I come to a complete stop with the car still running, the red battery light flickers (in the speeedometer dash). The battery light stops flickering when I drive. This has been happening for the past 3 months. What is the problem? I changed the altenator and battery in the summer time when both went out. Thx

Did you check the alternators wiring harness for damage?
Check that the cables to the battery are clean and tight, at the battery and to where they attach to the car.
Verify your ground cables are intact and are clean and tight.
You should have a ground cable from the negative going down the the transmission under the battery tray, on AT it mounts to a cadmium plated tab. And another cable that bolts to the cam/valve/head cover to the block, and to the engine mount.

Is your idle speed dropping too low?

When the light flickers can you park the car and check it with a voltmeter. You should be seeing ~14.4V with the car idling with no load.
