"HIGH CAM MAP" on Crome pro.
What's up Guy's,
I started tuning my car yesterday and started with low cam fuel map. I got her where she likes and I'm satisfied with it.
Now, I started to tune my high cam fuel map. I enable vtec at first to 3500rpm, click on the high cam map and went for a run twice till 6K rpm. Once vtec hits at 3500 she fells "doggy" like lazy, slowly going up the rpm. I'm thinking it could be lean because my low cam was kinda like that until I tune it.
So, I was looking at my fuel map and it defaulted back to the low cam map, I click the high cam again and it keep defaulting back to my low cam map. At this point I realize that this would always default back to low cam.
So, here is the question. If it default back to low cam everytime I finish a run how would I change my high cam fuel map? Because, I'm not able to click on the high cam while in live tuning. Is this normal in crome?
I tried three different ranges of vtec 3500, 4500, 5500, they are all "doggy", lazy, slow. I am personal not asking of how to tune, this is more a software question to those with more knowledge. This is my first attemp in crome, so please if you have any advice, I would appreciate it.
Setup:
LS-vtec 12.5cp
240cc injectors for now, waiting for the rc's to come
B16 head stock- Cams are also stock for now
Using crome pro 1.6.2
Using a P30 base, taken some ignition out at WOT in low cam and high cam. Right now both are at 18* at WOT,<yes> I'm chicken
Keep in mind that this is while live tuning and only going up to 6k rpm.
Thank you

It follows where you are in the map, obviously. I have a feeling there are multiple things you are doing wrong here. Just look at your data logs; or you aren't data logging are you? Do you actually have a wideband? You most likely pulled too much timing. An EGT would help confirm this. Are you really trying to street tune and drive at the same time? It's almost impossible without the right tools - you need someone to help you drive and you tune.
I'm datalogging and I have rtp. I make two runs each time and check my logs and make changes on the side of the road. I pulled off timing at wot, so far I have not touch any timing besides at WOT the last two culumns is set at 18*.
I can make changes on my high cam fuel map only when my ignition is off (key is ON position) not running. Then, reload it via rtp and do some run again. Besides that, it wont let me while in live tuning.

just turn off tracking and you should be able to stay on the high cam map while your pulled over. then just turn it back on when you go for the next pull
O.k. I will try this hopefully this friday when i get a chance. Does the map trace input the high cam afr.

Edit: Some members I pm'd confirmed that this is normal in crome while in live tuning. I would have to "click" on the little footprint thing down the bottom or turn off live tuning to access the "high cam fuel map".
I will do this and tune again.
^^actually is not^^.... I reloaded crome again because even of all the suggestion I got would not fix my problem. Delete crome and Re-load, I'm using the same basemap and problem went away. I'm done tuning fuel, about to hit the dyno hopefully this year to fine tune and tune my timing.
thanks guys.
thanks guys.
