just got ZC Tranny from hondamotorsonline.

it said L3. is this zc or si tranny? please help..

 

try a search....

L3 is a generic term for all 4th gen. transmissions. there should be a stamp right about the tranny fluid fill plug that says something like PL3/3000 or PL3/A000. the 3000 is the si... i'm not sure how to spot a zc, you can try fitting your axles in it, if they're too small, its probably a zc tranny.

i'll take a look at my broken ZC tranny case tonight to see what the stamp on it looks like.

 

The tranny that came witm my ZC is stamped L3.I'm pretty sure its a ZC tranny because I had to use 90-91 Integra inner joints and 90-91 civic right hand axles on both sides to make it work.

 

cool, my motor and tranny did not come with intermediate shaft.

Do i need them?

 

I'm not quite sure what you meen by intermediate shaft
