I have a Prelude that has a h23 a1 in it and last night i was driving down the highway and it started smoking and i pulled of to the shoulder and it died so i tryed to start it and all it does is make a tick noise what could have happen...

 

maybe your engine is seized, try putting a breaker bar and socket on the crank pulley behind the tire, and see if the engine will turn

 

Have you checked the oil? That would be the easiest place to start...

 

Def check oil also should check radiator just in case were you over heating
