Ok so I just got this car today and I understand that I might not know everything there is to the car but I noticed this tonight. Whenever I have my lights on and I try to turn my turn signal to the right then the windshield wiper fluid comes spraying out and the windshield wipers move a bit but then stop. After this happens and I proceed to try to move them with the windshield wiper handle the wipers don't move and the fluid sprays some more and the only way to fix it is to either pull over and turn the car off and lights and the restart or turn the lights off adjust the windshield wipers that way and turn them back on. Now when the lights are off the windshield wipers and turn signals work just fine so this is when the lights are on. Is this an electrical problem that I need to get taken to a dealership or is it something small I can fix?

 

if its under warranty do not try to attempt to fix this yourself it may void warranty so take it to the dealer to be checked out.

 

I wasn't about to fix it myself as I barely know what to do with cars as it is, Just wondering if someone else had run into a similar problem and they might know what it is

 

nothing like this when under warranty should be tinkered with. im sure they will just replace it with a new switch.

 

The dealer needs to take the steering column apart and have a look.
