rims xxr 527
There are several key factors in deciding a tire. Mainly of which are knowing what car they're going on, what kind of driving is expected to be done, as well as what wheel size (including offset) is going to be run.
As for the "stretched" request...
From the Forum Rules and FAQ:
10. Do not ask about "stretching" tires onto wheels that are too wide.
All such topics will be locked. Tire manufacturers determine the wheel widths onto which each model and size tire can be mounted safely, and you can find the range of these wheel widths in the specs on their websites as well as those of retailers like the Tire Rack. Mounting tires onto wheels outside this range of approved wheel widths is unsafe because it can, and often does, result in the buildup of excessive stress and heat in the tire sidewalls, which can lead to the tire "popping the bead" and/or tire failure. Make sure your tires are mounted on wheels whose widths are within the approved range.

All I'm doing is askingfor help with tires, just like the thread below me. Forums is here to help others that are not as good right? Seems like everyone are punks and stuck up.

PS. That rule has been up there for years. Its been a rule since before I joined Honda-Tech.
The three original questions that needed answering:
1. What model/type of car is this going on?
. - Your answer: '98 Integra (still don't have the type of Integra)
2. What kind of driving is expected to be done?
. - Your answer: daily driving
3. What size wheels (including their offset) are you going to be running?
. - Your answer: nothing
Without having all of my questions answered, its impossible for me to answer yours. There's no punk attitude there, because its of no concern to me whether or not you even get the wheels on the car. I'm simply trying to help you. But, without the information I need to do that... I cannot do anything.
Really? After this, you're in agreement? That's pretty harsh, guy, given how much I did to help you out.
If people don't get the news they want to hear, they complain. Regardless of how informative it is. Seems pretty juvenile to me.
On all forums, people just are smart asses. Didn't say u was, just in general.
I got. 98 integra gsr. I'm looking at the xxr527 4x100 0 offset. 16 in rim. 8.5 wide. Will this rims betok big for this car?

To give you some idea as to how much more clearance you will need:
Your stock wheels protrude from the hub of the brake rotor about 1.25 inches. The wheels you're looking at protrude about 4.25 inches past the hub of the brake rotor. If you want to try and visualize that in person, grab a tape measure, and measure out from your existing wheel 3 inches. That'll give you an idea as to how much more clearance you will need. Can it be done? Yes. Will it take a lot of work to make sure that the car is still safe for daily driving? Most certainly.
Sadly, there's nothing even close to a properly sized tire that is made both for those wheels and to fit your car. 16" tires that are designed for smaller cars really are hard to find in the first place. Be it for track or show purposes, 16" tires are a rarity in good sizing. If you're dead set on the stretched tire scene, there are better resources out there for that information. Its something we do not endorse here, due to the fact that its a huge safety risk. See the following for stretched tire resources: http://www.tyrestretch.com/ and http://rimtuck.com/
so it wouldn't even matter if i downsized to a 15 huh? all because its too wide, to me it seems like way to much work to get those on. don't want the stretch cuz its dangerous.
If you downsized to 15" wheels, your tire options open up tremendously. You could run a 15x8 +20 or so, if you don't mind a little negative camber and some fender rolling. With that, you can run a 225/50/15, and it'll be safe all the way around. It'll definitely be an aggressive setup, as well.
I definitely am looking to get the 527s too.. but in 15" ..but I can't find any in 15x8 or smaller.. the smallest width it seems for them is 8.5. So is 15x8.5 too wide and will rub fenders as my integra (96 2dr ls) is lowered a little bit (donno how much)? Cause toyomatt... You mentioned 15x8 to be safe but I don't think they make x8s.. just 8.5 at the smallest. Will extra half inch cause some more issues comparend to just if it would be as an 8" width? Also.. I don't want the wheels stickin outside the car I want them to be insided the body/flush with panels at most. ..thanks
