So after all my searches im lead to posting for more help. My problem is im getting a code 16. I know that many times the main relay could be the culprit so i changed it out with a good one and reset the ecu. im still getting the code 16 and now the car wont rev past 3500 rpms on the dot. going down the highway as soon as it hits 3500 it completely shuts out. The car cranks perfectly everytime and about 5 seconds after start up the check engine light comes on with a VERY light stumble (only noticeable to me because im paying attention, passengers dont even feel it) over the motor and then its fine (light stays on though)


Ive read a lot about the tps, but would that throw a code 16. where should i start? what all should i check?

 

DPFI or MPFI?
