Default looking into purchasing another accord 1999 ADVICE please

so i currently have a 1994 hond accord with a full jdm h22a swap jdm black/blue interior and many mods done to it that i am selling... i want to upgrade cars into a 1998-2000 honda accord sedan to daily and not really have to worry about people eyeing out my car... POINT IS i know someone who is selling their 1999 Ex accord sedan, for about 4k problem is it has 201k on the motor its a V6... would this be a good purchase for something i do not plan on pushing to hard and just daily driving it or are there complications with these engines on this year model car. any advice would be appreciated i will continue doing research but i know people on here have some experience. thank you

If it's an automatic the '98-'02 years do not have a stellar track record. Check all the records specifically look into any issues related to the AT. Even if it was a trouble free unit, keep in mind its still a 200K mile car.

4 grand seems a bit high for 200k+ miles, and like Mad Mike said the auto trannies aren't known for their durability in the 98-02 v6 models. I'm sure you can find a better deal on a 4 door with less miles on it if you look around.

With all that being said, you're better off sticking with the CD5 and 6 models. I completely agree with Mad Mike and the other posters. Make sure to also check the lower ball joints and for suspension creaking. Just cuz it's a good deal, you might get screwed in the end.
