idle issues with headlights on
Hey guys,
I just removed my AEM alternator pulley from my crx d16a6 and put the stock one back on
I ran into a little problem, when I turn my headlights on my cars idle fluctuates for a while before it settles out.
It wasn't doing this before.
actually, it would drop rpms a little but not as noticeable now.
The car was actually fine for about a week until today
I tinkered with the grounds and cleaned up a bit, raised my idle (was at 700, now at 750 +-)
and it's basically okay, but the symptoms are still there.
Is my alternator going out?
I know the AEM pulley under drives it so putting the stock one back on has probably started killing it.
But are these alternator symptoms?
Thanks

check the battery groud cable going to a bracket right under the distributor. mine has been loose more then once i finally used a lock washer. maybe thats your issue.
