Default Who should tune my AP1(AEM EMS)?

Just want to get idea's before I actually do plan on tuning. Probably have it tuned in the spring. I'm near Longview/Kelso, so I can ether go up to the Seattle area or down to the Vancouver/Portland area.

It'll just have bolt on's and an AEM EMS V2 to tune with. Street and dyno tune would be needed. The AEM EMS will probably bring my options down a lot.

I would suggest kaizenspeed in kenewick or Speedfactory on the westside! Can't go wrong with either of the 2 shops!

LOL dont go to any tuners in Oregon... you're going to regret it later.

Speedfactory, Kaizenspeed, and Richtune are the best in the northwest hands down.

I've heard of all of those, just wasn't sure how good they were.

Anyone have dyno plots and/or personal reviews to any of these shops? I was going to tune it myself but AEM is an epic PITA. Should have went with Hondata.

I thought they focused mainly on DSM's. Do they do a good job on Honda's? My friend's evo was tuned by them.

Once my car is ready to see the Dyno, EGJDM and I will be bringing it to Reid at Kaizenspeed - its a 10 hour drive for us, if that tells you anything...

They have an 8 sec Honda and my car if it is any reference. Not on an AEM but they know the AEM quite well.

You have a bolt-on S2K.
If English can tune an 1100hp Evo,
your car should be cake.

From a tuning standpoint, their's a big difference between even a basic turbo set up and a bolt on s2k. Someone comfortable tuning boosted motors might not be comfortable tuning all-motor ones and vise versa.

Lets just say that it is ALOT harder to make 1100whp in any 4 cylinder than it is to tune an all motor s2k. I am pretty confident they can take care of you.

I agree. But I want to see dyno charts for any all motor set-ups first. You'd think all of these great tuners would at least have a couple plots laying around, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

You should be looking for someone who is confident tuning with an AEM... You could have the best all motor sk2 tuner out there tuning your car, but if he has never touched an AEM it will be a nightmare for him...

I realize this. I street tuned my H22 on S300. I started in on the AEM and it was an epic PITA. So many parameters were ether off or had zero values. I couldn't figure something out so I took it out.

The only 2 people in the Northwest that i would trust tuning an AEM regardless WTF kind of car it is would be Lucas English From English Racing or John Reed from John Reed Racing...

You can look either one of their names and should come up with ALOT of info on them....

I'm probably going to have PSI tune it. KS is my second option at the moment. I still have plenty of time to figure it out though.

They changed their name to Trackforged. I had them do a valve adjustment and they got me in and out quick. They're the go to shop for s2k's. I however haven't heard much about their tuning. I know one of the turbo s2k guys runs their turbo kit but had PSI tune it.

This is completely untrue!
No one who is currently running a Trackforged Turbo kit had it tuned at PSI!! And no one ever did. Who ever told you that is wrong.
