so i just found out that theres a lot of oil in the spark plugs tube, so im going to replace the spark plug seals. i replaced the vc gasket a year ago, so I would like to know if it is necessary to replace the vc gasket as well or can i just replace the sp seals and leave the old vc gasket?

I reuse the valve cover gasket a lot. Check it though for any cracks or deterioration signs. Make sure and clean the mating surfaces well and reapply hondabond to the cam hump corners.

 

You can reuse it as long as it looks to be in good shape, just do like said above, the Honda bond on the corners of the cam humps is important.

 

Go to Honda for the gaskets. the FelPro ones that you get at a parts store fit like crap and don't really save you any money at all over the dealer.
