Okay, so I let my mom drive my Honda yesterday, and when she got home, she said the horn went off and got stuck. So she banged on the steering wheel and it finally turned off. Anyway, I got home to drive it and well, first thing the horn wasn't working. No big deal right?

Well, I tried shifting it from park into reverse and it wouldn't do that either. Wtf? So I checked the back and now I noticed the brake lights aren't working either!

So it's a combo of
1. horn not working
2. won't shift from park
3. brake lights wont work

Of course when I stick a screw driver or pen in the shift lock, it does shift. I drove it to O'Reillys and they couldn't help me out.

So can anyone please help me out? Thank you

Not sure why the horn is not working, but albeit the switch on the pedal is either broken or loose. This is what controls both the brake lights and shift interlock.

 

Underhood #47 20amp fuse is common for brake lights and horn.......EDIT: and without power to the brake switch the interlock is not going to work
