Dashboard brake light
Check all your lights work. I've come across on my previous Accords that dirty and corroded sockets and bulbs cause an intermittent bulb out, which triggers the light on the dash.
Check your bulbs and sockets, clean if necessary and replace any that look like they may be getting old.
Try that first. Like you said, it's mostly in the cold, so I think you've probably just got a corrosion issue which is easily fixed.
Let us know what you find.
