Default were to buy 38mm 3m thick pipie

any place to buy this pipe mild steel for manifolds can i bend it easy enough in a cheap bender mybe to do 180 degree bends and so on ,any help would be great

38mm, 3m tube = 1.5" OD x 0.120 wall. Most pipe fittings are 0.75 * diameter radius for short radius and 1.3 * diameter for long radius.

Since we talking about radiuses less then 2D - which are extremely difficult to bend - I'm going to assume you are only looking for a machine top condition - so we will look at new.

Short fittings you would need 85,000 ft*lbs of torque, which is about a #6 sized machine --- so about $300k+.

For long radius @ 1.3*diameter radius you need 32,000 ft lbs of torque.. So maybe a #3 sized machine which should be 150-200k tops.

Cheap right?
