Default Guidance on Heater core and blower motor

If theres a thread about this please direct me to the proper location. If not please help.

I purchased a 90 hatch back that didn't come with an a/c control unit. Id like to install a toggle switch and an ac controll switch with a resistor to bypass the resistor on the blower box. All of the stock wiring is still connected to the heater core and blower motor (I'm willing to use the stock resistor in the blower motor). What wires are to be used so I can get power to my heater core and blower motor. Any information would be great. I haven't been able to search much due to the fact I'm using a phone for the Internet and what Iv found was the question I'm asking with no answer.

Danks!

why not just replace the resistor pack on the blower, rather than rolling your own. That sounds like a waste of time.

A/C on a toggle switch can work if you are toggling to a relay. You will melt just a bare switch because an AC compressor pulls a lot of amperage. you need a whole lot of parts to install AC in a non-AC car though, so you are in an uphill battle.
