Hey guys, I'm not a n00b to this first of all.

I have had a lot of issues with the security system before. As you can see, I just opted for removing it all together from behind the cup holders. But now the car won't start at all. I'm a bit rusty with my car knowledge and I can't ID the problem here.

Is it a faulty starter? faulty distributor? faulty battery?

sounds like a shitty battery to me, it's not even getting enough juice to crank your starter

 

Sounds like it. Take the battery to get tested.

 

does your car has a alarm with a kill switch

 

I have a kill switch for my gas, but I haven't touched it. Don't think that would have anything to do with it.


Could it be the battery even though every time I crank it, it's being jump started?

 

sounds like bad grounding or bad wiring somewhere, the starter is not getting enough power to start

 

I am leaning towards bad battery. But was also thinking distributor since I have tried this so many times to no avail. Maybe I fried the distributor?

see if you can put a jump box on it. Sometimes using cables wont work. If it fires right up with a jump box, then its the batt. Put a batt in then get the alt tested to make sure.

bad dizzy wouldn't cause it to crank like that, that's a battery issue
